The football team of “Concern Galnaftogaz” and OKKO filling stations network with a name Green Griffins being symbolic for the company participated in a mini-football tournament of Hyundai Cup (May 24, Lviv). The tournament in Ukraine will be held in 8 cities with a cup final in Kyiv on May 31-June 1. The winners of all-Ukrainian tournament will go to Euro-2008 in Austria. 38 teams from Western Ukraine took part in the stage held in Lviv, and Green Griffins gained a victory in 3 matches and reached the semifinal, and according to the tournament results our football players ranked the fourth. On Sunday, June 1 at 1.00 p.m. Green Griffons will participate in Mini-Football Championship 2008 of the Western Ukrainian branch of European Business Association, which is held in Sports Palace “Budivelnyk” (at 8 Kerchenska St., Lviv).
