On May 31 the Eighth Annual International BMW Festival held by All-Ukrainian BMW Club took place at Kyiv airdrome “Chayka”. Annual meetings of BMW cars and motorcycles owners, BMW fans, guests from friendly clubs, including other European BMW Clubs are a great event in Ukrainian motoring fans life. The partner of this event was OKKO filling stations network (fuel Pulls 95).

The Festival was started by BMW column consisting of 400 cars and accompanied by traffic police. It was moving along the route “Chayka” – Peremoha Square – “Chayka”. The event was filled with merriments, competitions, games. This day was full of such actions as:
- motor racing masters demonstrations “Energy of Movement”
- motor stunt shows with audience participation
- paratroopers jumps and air show
- futsal, maxibox and sumo tournament
- defensive driving masterclasses
demonstrations of the “Hermes” Club sportsmen – the European and World Single Fight Champions
- autosound and tuning competitions
- retro-cars exhibition
- concert with the participation of “Haydamaky” band.

1,943 BMW automobiles were registered within the Festival, and this figure is one thousand higher than the one of the last year Festival. The event was visited by guests from Byelorussia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Russia, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, Poland, as well as from other car marks clubs. In whole, more than four thousand automobiles and twelve thousand spectators were present at the airdrome.
