After this year visits to Ivano-Frankivsk and Zhytomyr, the athlete tournament for prizes of Vasyl Virastyuk visited Podillya land – Khmelnytskyy city. The main aim of the tournament, traditionally held under the support of OKKO filling stations chain, is the search and preparation of perspective reserve for the Ukrainian national strongman team. As the tournament organizer Vasyl Virastyuk noted, the best trainings for athletes are the new starts, during which the strongest men are determined in the competitive struggle. And to return the lost title of “The Strongest Nation in the World”, Ukraine needs athletes, which could worthily compete with the main players. In the first exercise “pull-push”, the leader position was held by Denys Ilchenko. He confidently pushed his competitors outside the playing ground. Taking the leadership, the athlete did not leave any chances to his competitors in the second type of competition – pulling of a car: Denys pulled the gas-tank truck OKKO with the weight of 8.4 tons at the distance of 15 meters for only 19.97 seconds!
