
A la minute French restaurant helps the pupils of Skole and Verkhne Synyovydne boarding schools to choose the future profession. In fact unlike children growing in full families, there is nobody alongside of the pupils of boarding school, who would tell and advise them.
An idea to conduct such vocational guidance belonged to the executive chef of A la minute network Kostyantyn Biletskyi, who became a cookery specialist after a service in the Navy. Therefore he understands, like nobody's business, the importance of conscious choice of future profession.
At a master class, which took place on the 26th of May in Skole, executive chef Kostyantyn Biletskyi unlocked the secrets of culinary art for almost fifty pupils. Together with pupils he prepared some of restaurant best dishes – fish frames with couscous, club sandwich and cappuccino.
Kostyantyn Biletskyi, the executive chef of A la minute restaurants network: «The cook is never seen. The kitchen is confined in all restaurants, and not everybody knows this profession so to choose it after graduation. This profession inspires me, and I am sure that such vocational guidance is very necessary for the graduates of schools, and especially boarding schools. In fact to be a cook – means to study constantly, to advance, to grow professionally. And in terms of employment and payment for labour this market develops actively in Ukraine over recent years».
Up to now children after graduating from boarding schools usually choose technical professions – a locksmith, a housebuilder, a motor mechanic. Most of them learned for the first time how to create the masterpieces of the French kitchen deliciously and technically correctly.
The representatives of two L'viv vocational schools preparing graduates by this profession took up an invitation of ÎÊÊÎ network and A la minute restaurants. At the meeting in Skole they told young listeners about advantages of studies, prospects of the profession and privileges during the entering for the pupils of boarding schools.
A la minute plans to conduct such master classes in the future for the graduates of boarding schools in other regions, where the network of restaurants is. And the best pupils who will become cooks after graduating from school, will have an opportunity to work on probation and even find employment in A la minute.
