Ultra fast
chargers

Electric cars are up-to-date. So we're the first to build a network of ULTRA FAST chargers on the main highways of Ukraine, which charge cars in just 30 minutes. All so that owners of electric cars can freely travel across the country over long distances.

  • What are ULTRA FAST chargers?

These are high-speed electric chargers with 120 and 150 kW of power. Such chargers are currently available at OKKO filling stations on Kyiv-Odesa and Kyiv-Lviv-Slavske highways. More locations are planned.

  • Why does the time of charging last longer than stated?

The charging time depends on several factors:

    1. Electric car battery depreciation, battery capacity, and the absence of interventions into the mechanism.
    2. What is the charge level of your car's battery - each electric car has its own "charge curve", showing the dependence between the available battery charge level and the power that the battery is capable to consume. With a lower battery charge, more power is delivered by charging. ULTRA FAST chargers allow charging up to 80% of the electric car's battery in 30-40 minutes. But the remaining 20% of the charge requires much more time, as it takes the longest to balance the battery.
    3. The number of cars connected to the charging station - when charging several electric cars simultaneously at high-speed ports, the power is divided between them. So, if a charger with a maximum capacity of 150 kW powers two cars, one of them can get up to 90 kW, and the other - up to 60 kW.

  • What determines the charging price?

The cost of 1 kW depends on the type and capacity of the connector, the electricity tariffs set in a particular region, as well as the type of charging (AC or DC).

  • What is the number of cars able to charge at the same time?

Two or three cars can be connected to one station at the same time. At filling stations equipped with ULTRA FAST chargers, there are separate parking spaces for electric cars, which are marked in green and free to use while charging. In case the charging process is completed, yet the electric car remains plugged into the station (without charging), an additional fee applies for idle time.
