As part of the state program PLUSES in Army+ app from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine OKKO filling station network has been providing Ukrainian military personnel with special discounts on fuel, meals, and beverages during last 6 months. Simultaneously OKKO continues its own initiative - “Warm the Defenders,” which provides free coffee and hot dogs to the military at frontline fuel stations. In six months, OKKO has allocated nearly UAH 343 million to these projects.
In particular, as part of the PLUSES program, military personnel took advantage of OKKO's offers almost 1.5 million times. More than 25.2 million liters of fuel were sold at special discounts.
The initiative “Warm the Defenders”, under which OKKO provides free hot drinks and hot dogs to soldiers at frontline fuel stations, is ongoing at 54 gas stations in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy, Mykolaiv, and Chernihiv regions.
“For us, it is a matter of principle that support for the Armed Forces should be consistent rather than occasional. It is basically confirmed, by our flagship project “OKO ZA OKO”, which has been running for almost three years. Over four stages, and now in its fourth stage - OKO ZA OKO. DroneFall” - we, together with “COME BACK ALIVE” Foundation, have provided the military with weapons and equipment worth over UAH 1.4 billion. And discounts in the Army+ app and “Warm the Defenders” are another daily way to express gratitude to those who defend the country”, said Vasyl Dmytriv, OKKO’s Marketing Vice President.
We remind, that since the start of the full-scale invasion, OKKO has already allocated nearly UAH 3 billion to support the Armed Forces and different humanitarian projects.
