OKKO NETWORK OPENED NEW LABORATORIES OF FUEL QUALITY CONTROL

OKKO network completed the accreditation procedure of two more fuel quality control laboratories in accordance with the requirements of the state standards.

Thus, from 2022, already 21 laboratories — 17 stationary and 4 mobile labs — will monitor the quality characteristics of petroleum products that are sold in retail and wholesale through network.

Both new laboratories are located in Kherson. One is in the oil harbor of the Kherson oil transshipment complex, the other — on the territory of oil depot. As already reported, one year ago OKKO acquired an oil transshipment complex in Kherson aiming to establish the supply of fuel tanker shipments to Ukraine. Therefore, both laboratories are primarily focused on checking these imported batches of fuel. Laboratories are provided with all the necessary equipment for determining the key indicators of gasoline and diesel fuel prescribed in state standards. In addition to serving the needs of OKKO, the laboratories have the opportunity to provide services for quality control of petroleum products to other customers as well.

"Over the past 10 years, OKKO network has invested more than 140 million hryvnias in quality control of oil products. We want to be 100% sure in the product we offer to our customers. Therefore, we are constantly expanding and improving our control system, - said THE HEAD OF OKKO’S TESTING FUEL CENTER - VIKTOR BUTYM. — During the year, laboratories examine up to 50,000 samples of petroleum products. Our laboratories receive requests on fuel quality check from both large private corporations and government structures - as they are confident in our expertise."
